A large Korean Bank will start offering cryptocurrency storage services

KB Kookmin Bank, one of the largest banks of South Korea, plans to offer its customers for the storage of digital assets.

To launch the custodial service, the bank has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Cumberland Korea cryptocurrency platform and the Hashed Venture Foundation.

According to partners, the development of a new business model has prompted regulatory changes associated with regulating the technologies of a distributed registry. Companies expect cooperation to allow them to enter the ERU of digital transformation.

Unlike its competitors, KB Kookmin Bank will offer a custodial product that will be focused not only at institutional investors.
